Contraiindication:
Hypersensitivity to Dimenhydrinate or related drug
Special Precaution:

8.Porphyria

Interaction:
Alchohol & other CNS depressants like barbiturates, analgesics, sedatives neuroleptics: CNS depressant effect enhanced.
MAOIs, Atropine & TCAs: Antimuscarinic effect enhanced.
Aminoglycosides: Ototoxicity masked, irreversible damage may occur.
Aminophylline, Hydrocortisone, Phenothiazines and some soluble barbiturates: Incompatible with these in solution.
Servings:
Adults: 50 - 100 mg 6 - 8 hours daily
For motion sickness drug should be administered half an hour before traveling.
Treatment of nausea and vomiting in Meniere`s disease: 50 mg IM for acute attack
Maintenance dose: 75 - 150 mg / day in 3 divided doses
Children: 1.5 mg / kg / day in 3 divided doses.
